I think we got up for a walk, got a taxi back to San Jose. We saw a sloth in a tree, just outside reception and the driver also stopped on the way to show us the parrots, seen above. 

We went back to the steak restaurant that night; the same one as our first meal out in Costa Rica. Ben got a free pudding as he had got the grades in his ‘A’ Levels.

We flew back via .. somewhere in the US. I remember waiting for the plane was a massive wind up as my name was number 1 on the list for an upgrade. The others were back in 6/7/8th position. It never happened…. what was the point of that??? It put me right off American Airlines.

Anyway… great trip!
