Laredo to Viveiro - Day 2

After that fantastic sunset and the dolphins, I was a bit buzzed up and I couldn’t sleep. There were a few fishing vessels about, but not much traffic.

I managed to get a couple of hours and then woke up. As it was a full moon it was going to be out all night.

As the moon sank the dawn crept up on the horizon

And as the moon set the sun rose.

I remember trying to see this down at Lepe Beach one full moon , but there is too much light pollution there. Now I have seen it ! I can tick it off the list.

We got in relatively late. This is the view from where we berthed. We were almost next to a road. The berthing was quite easy.

For the evening we popped out to the town. There was a large supermarket next to the marina, so we popped in for bread and milk and then set off for the town centre.

It was very quiet and we didn’t really see any restaurants open with people eating in them. We sat and had a beer in the central square and pondered where to go. We tried a couple of places on the way back but they were deserted so we legged it to the supermarket for sausages and croquetas (not sure why we got croquetas as Im not a fan.)

We went back on board the boat and I cooked, we ate. Marco all but passed out from fatigue , not my poor cooking. I cleared up end had another glass of wine (still getting through our costco box of wine!) .

Off to bed, an early start in the morning!
