St Ives – Day 3

I set my alarm on my new Garmin Watch for 6:30am with a view to getting up for the dawn again. I was glad that I did as it was a great one. I started on the beach by the cottage but then moved to get the sunrise in line with a tower in the pier.

We all went to the shops after breakfast.I had to get some stuff from the chemist and then pick up some beer fron Jane in the Deli. The others went off and then I went to take some pictures around the back streets on the Island and visit a couple of art galleries. The last 2 photos are of the cottage steps and where it is.

We all met for an ice cream at 11:30 and then everyone had a bit of a lie down. Lunch was he cheese provided by Jane , and Sue and I felt it merited a glass of red wine. After lunch Ivan and I went for a little walk, around the Island and I left him at Porth Meor and carried on around a few headlands.  I needed a bit of a walk as the next item on the itinerary was The Sloop for a beer, of which I had 2.

We had a dinner of beef stew, which Sue had prepared earlier that day made with chillis from the garden (back home). We finished off the red wine and went down to Porth Meor Beach for the sunset. It was a little flat , but some Chinese girls were posing for each other so I got a couple of shots of them looking very elegant on long exposure shots.

On returning to the cottage we watched The Vigil, but I think I will have to watch it again as I was falling asleep through it. We retired to bed early, as we had been up since 6:30, with a plan to go swimming at Porth Gwiddan.
