Bishops Castle – Chill

The morning light was very bright and so I went for a bit of a walk and got some nice photos of the town and the house. I also took a couple of the garden whe I got back.

Mum had a visitor, Sasha(?), who was very helpful to Helen of Bluebell. They went down to the Six Bells for lunch. The rest of us chilled out and tried not to eat too much as it was Bigos night. I’m not sure if the link is that good a recipe but you will get the idea.

Suzie, Sue and I went for a little drive up to The Long Mynd… the long way around. We eventually found the correct road up and took a few photos. I took some on Dad’s camera which will be developed later. I got a couple of photos at the top, but the weather had turned decidedly chilly and cloudy. We had a littel walk and then returned quite promptly to the car.

The Bigos was, of course, accompanied by vodka. As was the first course of gherkins (pickled cucumbers) and Polish sausage. i’m not sure we got to pudding, although Sue’s sticky toffee pudding was getting eaten fairly regularly.
