Another pretty chilled morning with a lovely sunrise. The town was fully open today so we all nipped out for a coffee or whatever. Harry treated me to coffee and cake at the Poetry/Coffee shop. Suzie, drove Mum down there so she could have a look around. Harry also bought a book, The Book of Trespass. Which is a very interesting read.
The afternoon we all (apart from Mum) went for a walk up on Stiperstones.
The weather and especially the light was fantastice. Clear and bright giving us amazing views and clarity. On the path up to the summit we found a lot of mushrooms. Magic ones, obviously, puff balls and many others.
On the return journey, Katie found another mushroom. Nothing magical about this one. A young but very large Parasol mushroom. Ben cooked it and it was very tasty.
That preceded supper which was a very tasty pasta bake, cooked by Huw, using up some of the copious amounts of food that was left lying around.
The evening was very chilled and the older youth spent some time in the garden, where the moon was amazing.
We were leaving the next day. The rooms were easily cleared but going through all of the food was another matter!
Huw, Ruth and the youngsters left first as they had a long drive up to Scotland to see Janet. That was followed by Sue, Sam and I , as Sue had a night up in London to attend.
