I woke up at three in the morning and managed to look outside the window. I could see the moon through the trees and so I took a quick photo, and then went back to sleep for a couple more hours before waking up and reading for a bit.
Today, we were going to Tavistock. We all got in the car at about 9:30am and drove to the town and parked by the river. We then had a wander around individually and met again for a coffee in the old market area. It is a pretty town and quite a few nice things to see. The others went for more of a look and I sat in Bob‘s East End cafe had another coffee and did some work. We met again for lunch at 12:30 at Taylors bistro which was very pleasant and we left feeling very stuffed not even able to have a puddin!
We returned to the car via the co-op for some bread and beer and drove back to the cottage. We all had a little rest and then went for our respective walks. Judy and Ivan went up the brook next to the house and Sue and I walked down to the River Tamar where we saw old blokes fly fishing .
The evening was very quiet. Sue and I shared a bottle of wine had some cheese and bread after sitting by the pond for a early evening beer. I then retired to watch a film and turned in for the night.
