Today was extremely chilled and passed by in a flash. The crossing was very gentle and we started the day with a nice continental breakfast.
I did some research and got us booked in to a campsite in Caceres for two nights. Apart from that we read, walked around the deck quite a lot and did the daily wordle competition with Sam!!
The evening meal was arranged in shifts to avoid the dining room being too crowded. We were very impressed with the standard of food and with the service. I had gazpacho followed by hake and cheesecake. Dave had tuna terrine followed by paella and Normandy apple tart. It was all washed down with a bottle of Ribera del Duero.
We sailed on the Galicia and it was a really nice ship. The cabins were very comfortable with good beds and a decent shower. There were lovely photos of Galicia everywhere and really good customer service. !!
