The weather was pretty overcast when we woke up this morning. Marco and Dave took down, folded and stored the jib.
I finished packing and Dave and I then went for a stroll in the town. We followed the sound of loud music and people talking on the loudspeaker. We found a café that was very crowded with lots of old men, but realised that I was the only female in it so decided to go elsewhere. The next café we found was really friendly, and the lady explained to us that it was an anti-war demonstration taking place, hence there were quite a few police around. The service was typically generous, with cake and cookies fresh out of the oven added to our order.
As we wandered along we passed a barbershop and we went in to see if Dave could get a long overdue hair cut. Success! We had a great chat with the only female barber in Prevesa and check out the results.

We wandered over to the marina office, ordered a taxi and waited in the café before saying our goodbyes. We then went to the bus station for the 4.5 hour journey to Corinth.
We got to our hotel, Terra Nostra, at 7 o’clock. It was a very friendly welcome and there was a beautiful view from our room across to the old town and the mountains beyond. We had a shower and unpacked. The hotel was a little way out of the city, so we sat by the pool with a beer before dining on a shared packet of cheese crackers out of the mini fridge. Yum! 😃 and maybe a chocolate bar for pudding
Cake and Cookies, just right.
Sad for you to leave the yacht m how lucky for the experience.🌻
